On the fifth day of Christmas my true love gave to me, five gol-Dean seasons! That’s right Greendale students, the unthinkable has happened. After taking longer than expected to return for season 4, NBC is bringing back Community for season 5.
Ratings from last night’s season finale were impressive enough for executives to turn their heads (it matched American Idol in the under 35 demographic) and give Community at least one more semester on NBC.
Right now there’s a question as to just how many episodes this fifth season will have, but Vulture says there should be at least 13 episodes, just like this past season.
