Comedian Chris Hardwick is all over the place. From Talking Dead to The Nerdist on BBC America (which shares the name with his popular podcast and website), the nerdy funnyman has made quite a name for himself with a niche audience. But he’s not done yet.
Comedy Central is looking to expand their late night talk show block with a new show from Chris Hardwick and Funny or Die, airing four nights a week following the one-two political satire punch of The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and The Colbert Report.
Deadline says Reno 911! creators and stars Thomas Lennon and Robert Ben Garant (who also wrote the Night at the Museum film series) will serve as executive producers and showrunners on the series, which is described as a comedic panel show that will utilize social media participation.
